Student Life Classes Student Life Classes occur at the youth chapel every Friday Night. This setting is geared towards those who have questions. This Friday Night classes creates a forum where questions can be asked and will be answered in a loving Atmosphere.
TheFormula iChurch is youth service that occurs every Wednesday Night and is located in the youth chapel on the new property. This service is geared towards Jr. and Sr. but every age group is welcome and asked to participate if they want.
TheAlternative iFun is an activity night that is geared towards Jr. and Sr. that occurs on an announced Friday night. iFun can be located at the church or youth chapel, but usually those places are only a meeting place for the young people. Once the young people have met, they can then proceed to the location where the activity will begin.
TheSolution Tuesday night bible study In the chapel
Sunday School Sunday School occurs on Sunday morning at 9am and 11am. Sunday School is for the entire church body of which the Jr. and Sr. groups will have their own teacher and weekly topics.
Sunday Corporate Service The Sunday Corporate Service is on Sundays at 6pm. It is a service set to meet the spiritual needs of the entire church congregation. The young people will be involved in the service and will not have any classes, but rather will sit in the service with the rest of the congregation.
Prayer Prayer occurs on Monday nights at 8:15pm for the young people and it is located at the church with the church congregation.
Singles Outing The monthly singles outing is determined and executed by the Singles Group.
Shift Shift is a summer youth program designed for young people. Shift will educate and provide spiritual growth and fellowship for young people throughout the summer months.
H2H H2H is an outreach tool used once a month for the youth group. In H2H, the youth will meet at house and have an appetizer to eat and some word of God to digest. They will then leave that house and head to another house and have a main course meal followed by a brief word and prayer. After the main course, the group heads off to another house where they will have dessert followed by fun and games.
Kenpo Kenpo is a ministry directed by Ronnie Rodriguez designed for ages 11 and up. Kenpo teaches young people discipline and control through martial arts. Kenpo is also used as way to lead and mentor young people through teaching them lessons that can be applied to their lives.
ANNUAL EVENTS ::
Youth Convention Youth Convention is an annual youth conference geared towards young people sponsored by the Western District Youth Division. It occurs in April or March for one week in the town of Bakersfield. The conference schedule is as follows: the mornings are used for teaching on life principles and the evenings are used for preaching.
Virtual Hell Virtual Hell is an outreach during the month of October sponsored by the church family of IPC. The purpose and vision of Virtual Hell is to give young people something to do during the Halloween season other than the norm, to give them an opportunity for ministry. The young people will fill acting roles in the Virtual Hell drama, as well as they have the responsibility of praying with people in the altar after the drama.
Jr. Camp Jr. Camp is a camp sponsored by Section 3 and is intended to reach out to the Jr. age group. It occurs during a week in the month of June and is located at a camp in the local mountains.
Sr. Camp Sr. Camp is a camp sponsored by the Western District Youth Division and is intended to reach out to the Sr. age group. It occurs for one week during the month of August and is located in Santa Maria.
Singles Event The singles event is still under deliberation, but it occurs during the month of December, and it appears to be a get together for the singles of Section 3.
Back 2 School Revival The Back 2 School Revival is a weekend revival geared towards the Remix and Zion age groups of Section 3. This revival is a sectional event and is therefore sponsored by Section 3. It occurs right before the young people go back to school after summer break in the month of September.
Youth Week Youth Week is a week intended to uplift young people and give them spiritual inspiration to finish the school year. It is an event sponsored by the Section 3 youth, and is offered to the ages of Remix and Zion.
Fall Youth Retreat Fall Youth Retreat occurs for one weekend in the month of September in the San Bernardino Mountains. The Youth Retreat is always a special time for the young people to get away and to forget about all the problems and dilemmas they face at home on a daily basis. It is an opportunity for them to receive spiritual direction and draw closer to their Savior Jesus Christ. (Note: this is subject to Change of Season)

MINISTRIES ::
No Vacancy Band The No Vacancy Band is a ministry designed for young people and implemented in youth services and youth activities. No Vacancy is responsible for learning and implementing songs and worship in youth services. The band will also be responsible for teaching the songs they are singing to the youth group. The band will be the worship leaders and provide the music for every youth service or function put on by UPRISING. The band will consist of guitars both electric and acoustic and will sound more contemporary. The purpose of this ministry is to get young people involved in their own service. It gives the young people an opportunity to minister to one another. No Vacancy will meet every other Tuesday night to learn new material to be implemented and taught.
StiX StiX is a ministry in which the young people who are interested are involved in sign language worship of songs. They will perform what they have learned to the youth group and lead in worship through sign language. StiX is designed for young people to be involved in ministry. StiX will meet every other Tuesday at 7pm to learn new material.
Member Briefing Member Briefing is designed to get the new youth member involved in the youth group and provide them with a network of new friends in the church who could be influential and mentor them. Member Briefing will take place once a month and will be taught by the youth pastor and some members of the mentor team.
Parents Parent Care is used to get parents involved in the youth group. Parent Care is also designed to keep parents informed of what is happening in the youth group and what the young people are being taught (A Open House). This Open House will occur every quarter, but if situations arise, the Student’s Parents may be called in for an informative meeting.
Sponsors “Sponsors” is a group of adults who want to be involved in the young peoples lives, but they are unable to commit to every youth activity. The Sponsors group provides a place for those adult couples that are interested to be influential in the young peoples lives. The sponsors will have meetings that will bring them up to date on the occurrences within the youth group, and plan a calendar. These meetings will be called at various times based upon youth group demand.
@RT3esT!c Artistic is a ministry designed for those who are naturally creative and crafty. @RT3esT!c is responsible for decorating youth events, youth services, and youth presentations. This group will also be responsible for updating and creating the youth web page. This group will be meeting every other Tuesday night to come up with new creative ideas and to work on current projects.
L & C Letters and Cards is a ministry set up reach out to new convert and struggling youth. This ministry will be responsible for sending weekly new convert letters to the new converts of the youth group, to provide them with encouragement and direction. This ministry will also be responsible for sending cards out to and just checking on those members who have been missing services and outings. This group will meet once a month to write cards and prepare weekly letters for the next month and to overview the new young people that entered the youth group during the previous month.
YEM Youth Entertainment Ministries (YEM) is a ministry designed to get young people involved by acting in skits and dramas. These skits and dramas will be preformed at youth service and youth activities. YEM is also responsible for writing new skits and dramas that will be implemented as needed in the youth services and activities. YEM will also be directly involved in the major drama productions put on by IPC. YEM will meet on Saturdays to rehearse and write new material for skits and dramas.
Fundraising Fundraising is a ministry with the intent of raising money for the youth group. This money raised will be directed towards different areas of the youth group, based upon needs. For example, if the youth group would like to buy some more equipment for youth service, the fundraising committee will be responsible to come up with an idea to raise money. The raised money will then be used to purchase the needed new equipment. This ministry will meet a various times based upon the financial needs of the youth group.
IPCMAM International Pentecostal Church Martial Arts Academy (IPCMAM) is a ministry is a ministry lead by Ronnie Rodriguez designed for ages 11 and up. IPCMAM teaches young people discipline and control through martial arts. IPCMAM is also used as way to lead and mentor young people through teaching them lessons that can be applied to their lives.
S-K-A-T-E S-K-A-T-E is a ministry geared towards evangelism and outreach. Skate is designed to reach those young skaters and provide them with not only skater friends, but also an encounter with Jesus Christ. Skate will take place at skate parks in the Los Angeles and Orange Counties.
SCYC SoCal Youth Coalition (SCYC) is A team of youth groups networking together with theses common goals:
* To provide Mentorship, Youth Activities, Prevention & Intervention programs, to Southern California Youth
* By empowering & motivating our young people with education & awareness by using, one-to-one counseling, group testimonies, youth actives & outing
Many sites also provide various type class room programs of a Substance-abuse, Anger Management, Behavioral Modification and Gang Prevention programs that address varies subjects like:
Short & Long Term Goals, The Most Commonly Abused Drug, Maintain Your Focus, Respect for Authority and Understanding My Nature
Some of the most important tools to combat gangs and drugs in our community is by creating open conversations with youth and helping families to be pro-active in their young people lives.
These classes are designed not only to educate the students about destructive life styles, but we also encourage them to engage in self-evaluation which allows them to see how addiction affects themselves and the world around them.
Singles Singles is exactly what it sounds like, a group of single people ages 25 and up coming together for fellowship. This group creates an environment for those who are singe, both searching for their soul mate and those who are content with being single. This group meets every Tuesday night for fellowship and a house (location changes every week to find location email singles director). This group will have outings whenever they are available.
College The College group is geared towards those single collegic individuals between the ages of 18 & 24 who are not in the student group or the single group. This group has outings whenever they are planned. College meets once a week on Tuesday night at a house (location changes every week, to find location email college director).
