"Almighty Applause" explores the disparity between our passion for worship and entertainment. Think about how people act at concerts, sporting events, or shows in contrast to their behavior at church. This article encourages Christians to worship wholeheartedly, and to look forward to church as an engaging event, rather than a ritualistic duty.
How would you have responded to Jesus if you met him face-to-face 2000 years ago? This article reassures Christians that we would have believed in Him, even then.
A story that shows that there is no one who is not capable of having faith in Jesus, especially when HIS grace is upon him. If God can make a blind beggar have faith in Him, in-spite of His troubles then can there be anyone who can fall out of His grace?
Last night I had a dream. I saw in this dream a place where water was gushing out. I then saw a person putting a valve and then a pipe on the water. I knew the water was being controlled or regulated. The pipe was to allow the water to go where the person desired. When I awoke, I saw this again and spoke to a friend about what I seen. As I was explaining the dream I saw like a gusher of oil when the ground had been broken through. Man then places a valve on the oil to control it. Does an abundance of oil and water have a lot of value? These are controlled in the natural because of money for some.
An interesting look into musical instruments and the Bible

The worship of God could not be experienced more profoundly without offering up to Him songs of praise, devotion, love, thankfulness, and reverence for all the many blessings which has been bestowed upon those who are His children. Many Christian Churches have choirs who edify the flock with special renditions of praise through songs they have rehearsed and dedicate to the glory of God, while a few others offer praises to God through songs sung by the entire congregation of worshippers.
When the weather is nice, when the sky is so blue that even a color-blind guy like me can see how beautiful it is, I like to go walking on the campus at Southwestern Seminary. During today's walk, for whatever reason, I was pondering my personal philosophy of worship, the answer I might give to a church when they ask what I believe about it. In the process of that meditation, I realized that even though they're frequently used to mean the same thing, praise and worship are actually two very different ideas. The most basic difference is that worship is based in who God is, while praise is based in what he does.
Whenever we think about God, it seems inevitable that we'll ask him (or others) what in the world he really wants from us.
However, we run into an internal conflict right away when we ponder who God is compared to who we are. God is perfect. He does not sin or do evil things. He is perfect and totally just in all his ways. This is what is meant when God says he is holy. The "problem" is when we realize that this perfection is also what God requires of us. He states quite clearly in the Bible, "Be holy as I am holy."
We actually need God to be perfect. If not, then what would our lives be like if, whenever God spoke to his creation, all his decrees would now be open for revision and updates? All his commandments would be reduced to nothing more than really good advice.
